January 2014 Favorites!

I won’t make any excuses of why I haven't post anything in the last month, like I was too busy with school work, or I was way too busy in general; yes, I have a few school work that needed my attention but that isn't a valid excuse since I had a lot of free/lazy time that I could have used to write. The truth is that I wasn't inspired or motivated to write on here this month, but now I'm back. Yes, I'm back and I hope to not feel like this past month anymore.

So, starting with the subject of this post, my January Favorites, I will like to say that I don't have like a lot of favorite things this month and it might be a little bit boring. And now that you’ve been "warned", let's get started:
  • My Paulo Coelho "Alas Y Raices" 2014 agenda. Yes, I've been loving an agenda this month even though I don't use it as an agenda, I kind of use it as a journal were I write every single day about how I felt and important things that happened that day. I find this very therapeutic and that way I can keep spontaneous ideas there, maybe for future posts, who knows.
  • American Horror Story. I watched all 3 seasons this month and you could say is now one of my ultimate favorite’s shows. I just love it and I can't wait for season 4.
  • Double Chocolate cookies from LaPanera. I bought these cookies one day at the supermarket and absolutely loved them. They taste like brownies, literally! They come in a little box with six cookies. By the time I took this picture the box was long gone and these were the last two cookies.
  • Cashmere glow body lotion from Bath & Body Works. I just love the smell of this so much; it's a really fresh smell.

  • My illustration classes at university. Okay. This is probably one of the highlights of this month. The classes are super fun and I've learned so much and I feel all professional now.

  • Teen Wolf. I honestly don't know how to describe my feelings for the second half of season 3; I only can say "asdfghjkl". It's AMAZING! And the wardrobe of Holland Roden and Crystal Reed! AHHH! I just love this show, okay? okay.
  • House of Hades by Rick Riordan. I talked about this book in November I think, and I still haven't finished it, I still have a couple of chapters left but I love it so far and it's awesome. I probably say that about all Rick Riordan’s books because I just love his series and the way he writes. If you are into greek and roman mythology I recommend you to read his books. (If you love Percy Jackson as much I do, leave a comment below telling me which one of the books is your favorite).
  • Motivational Mondays. This is a series of posts that the lovely and amazing Louise (SprinkleofGlitter) bring to her readers every Monday to keep them motivated on this hideous day (because everyone hates Mondays). You can read them here. And also check her youtube channel here.
  • Playing cards with my grandma. You probably are like "what?" by this point, but I spent a lot of time at my grandma's house this month and we played cards, lots of cards. And may I say I won a few times. (And I'm proud of it since is very difficult to beat my grandma).

And I think that was it! Leave a comment below telling me some of your favorite things this month or anything else you want to comment about (maybe you’re glad I’m back?).
I hope you had a lovely month, and I would “see” you next week (hopefully)!

Karla xx
